Kraken.com is a cryptocurrency exchange. It’s a secure, trustworthy crypto exchange platform, that allows trades between several FIAT currencies and crypto tokens. When compared to other exchanges, Kraken is one of the best choices for trustworthiness. Kraken has never been hacked due that it keeps most of its currency offline. It also offers users a two-factor authentication for their accounts.

Since Kraken is not a wallet, we recommend to use it from your preferred wallet, where we have deposited you to turn the funds in any currency. Kraken is not a wallet:

Kraken is not a shop

Kraken is not the one selling or buying cryptocurrencies from you as a user. This means that if by any chance a user messes up an order, they are not able to refund it and also, they have no control over the price.

How to create an account on Kraken

Creating a Kraken account is the first step towards accessing the services that Kraken offers.

  1. Visit the official Kraken site on https://www.kraken.com.
  2. Click on the “Create account”-button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Enter your email address, a username (check username tips and requirements) and a strong password (you can also see passwords tips and requirements) on the signup form. Please note the username cannot be changed.
  4. Read and agree (with a check) on the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and then click the “Sign Up” button.
  5. You should receive an activation email containing an activation key.
  6. Enter your activation key on the account activation form, or alternatively complete activation by clicking the link in the email.
  7. Confirm your password, complete the captcha if asked, and click the “Activate Account” button.

How to get verified on Kraken

After activating your account, you need to verify so that you can allow funds to be deposited and trades start to be made.

  1. Login to your account at https://kraken.com/sign-in .
  2. Click on your profile icon on the upper-right corner of the page.
  3. Select the Get Verified option from the drop-down menu.
  4. Press the purple “Get Verified” button of the account type you want to apply for.

Each level enables more funding options and higher limits, with Pro being the highest available.

Due to international and local financial regulations, there are few geographic restrictions.
